PAGES IN A JOURNAL
Piaj - What's in a name?
Bowl and Cups, Pastel Drawing by Gayle

Interestingly, shortening the name ‘Pages in a Journal’ to the first letter of each word forms PIAJ, which when I looked it up, to my surprise, is an Asian Noodle Soup of tasty, spicy and fresh foods. Good nourishment for the soul.
So ‘Piaj’ captures what the site is to be about. Taking a little cup of goodness, to taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8).
Out of the Storehouse…
‘He brings out of His storehouse the things old and new’ Matthew 13:52
Those who were scribes in the things of the Kingdom of God (KOG), brought out from their storehouse treasures old and new. These are both the old eternal laws of righteousness, truth, justice and mercy and also the new truths of Christ – who He is, His mission and the work of the Holy Spirit.
This means both the Old and New Testament, the Word of God and the work of the Spirit of God in our lives.
Pages in a Journal is about bringing out from my storehouse of writings and artworks that I have hidden away in my paper and digital journals and presenting them to nourish, encourage and stir on others in their creativity and in deeper and meaningful relationship with God and the things on His heart and mind.
My Journey
Writing and Art Journaling is the journey that God has me on and I am continuing to learn and grow. And now is the time to share, to bring out the old and new things that I have hidden away for some time.
What journey are you on?
What is your creativity and art/s about?
